Well, mark me down as not hating anybody, please! I've 'known' Molly a long
time over Usenet now and she was very kind in trying to help me locate a dog
last year, after I'd had to have one of my others put to sleep. I was just
getting confused as to who is who!

I have a feeling some people on Usenet 'don't like' me but I don't think
I've done anything to make anyone 'hate' me. And if I have, it's certainly
not been anywhere near intentional!!

They've had almost 4 years to fix the "problem" since the last election. I
read in the paper the other day that they are already having problems with

It is when you don't know where they are :-S.

Think about 32000 keys for your house, and you don't know where they are.
Who will have confidence in your security?
Would be the same as having 32000 keys for a ballot box, and some were
unaccounted for.
Would YOU trust the votes that were in the box?

The modest young lass had just purchased some lingerie and asked if she might have the sentence "If you can read this, you're too damned close" embroidered on her panties and bra.
"Yes madam," said the clerk. "I'm quite certain that could be done. Would you prefer block or script letters ?"
"Braille," she replied.

If you want to read about the controversy, do a websearch on "Diebold"
"Bush" "election." Lots of fun for the paranoids, and yeah, I'm a
paranoid. :) This is getting way the heck off topic.
