Vanectyl caused urinary incontinence? - CLICK HERE for the Pet Manual Forum Home Page

Took Boomer my lovely Border collie/Lab cross to the emergency clinic yesterday morning with a horribly swollen face. They think she ate an insect or was stung by something. They gave her an injection of steroids and an antihistamine. We were to give her vanectyl-P tablets if the swelling did not go down. We gave the tablets after 4 hours and again after 8 hours. The swelling went down, but the poor girl has been incontinent ever since. I keep finding her lying in floods of urine. Is this a medication side effect?
Will it stop? What can I do to help her. I am at wits end!
