Okay; Here's what I would like to know:

1. What do you feed your ferrets?

2. What is your average lif expectancy of your ferrets?

3. Insulinoma? Cancer? (what kind) adrenal?

4. What age? (refering to #3)

5. Treats?

6. Outdoor playtime?

After everyone answers, I'll tell you what I found out (well figure out)
from another website I did this on.

James Welbeloved "Ferret Complete" and a mix of kitten foods, half/half ish.

Don't know, these are my first and have only had them for 2-3 years.

Neither, hopefully never.

> 1. What do you feed your ferrets?

Lamb and rice catfood.

> 2. What is your average lif expectancy of your ferrets?

around 6

> 3. Insulinoma? Cancer? (what kind) adrenal?

Yes, they all had cancer. Usuall started in the adrenal, I'd get them
surgery, and then it'd spread to other organs after a year or so.

> 4. What age? (refering to #3)

They usually got cancer and lived for another year.

> 5. Treats?

Dried fruit. Like raisens or bannanas

> 6. Outdoor playtime?

Never. They hate the leash. But I have a patio door I open up so they can go
play by the door and get fresh air. When they were younger, they liked to
climb the screen.

I feed Zupreem and sometimes mix it with kitty food.

> All have lived to about 5 years old. Not quite sure about George, he was

a rescue, so his age was estimated.

> 3. Insulinoma? Cancer? (what kind) adrenal?
> No insulinoma. Dweezil and Opie both had adrenal (both were from MF).

And George died from Lymphosarcoma.

> 4. What age? (refering to #3)
> Adrenal came on around 3-4 years of age. George got lympho around 4.5

years of age and it took him within 3 months of finding lumps.

> 5. Treats?
> froot loops, cheerios, yogies, cheweasels, n-bone chews for ferrets, foamy

fries, cat treats, chicken/turkey baby food, pieces of chicken or beef for
those who'll eat meat

> 6. Outdoor playtime?
>Kolby and Stormy are the only ones who will tolerate a leash and enjoy

going outside.

They live outdoors in a court, but are let out in the garden which is secure
three times a day until they put themselves back to bed.
