After Gandolf had wreaked his usual havoc last night, I picked him up and
took him back to his cage. And stopped. All around the front of the cage
was a layer...no, a *sea* of wood pellets. Up to an inch deep in spots. A
good twenty pounds of pellets-all over the floor! He'd apparently gone
digging in the bag while I was on the computer upstairs. :-o

/me looks from floor to ferret. *scowl*

"Bad ferret!"

Gandolf just looks at me. I put him in the cage and started scooping
handfulls of pellets back into the bag. He glares at me. This look that
clearly says "Do you know how *long* it took me to get all of those out?!?"
I can hear little ferret snickers of glee when I'm not looking at him
though. Yeah, I know he had fun doing that!

Little brat! *L*

Awwwww...........don'tcha just love 'em tho????? LOL If we wanted 'well
behaved' pets who didn't get into stuff, we'd all have goldfish. :-)

Standard ferret response. Razzle usually yawns while I'm doing this. Minya
used to look around as if planning her next escapade while waiting for me to
finish.

Pam
Dummy here, me, one time was in a hurry after, buying groceries and
stupidness took over, I left several rolls of paper towels on the
kitchen table. Not thinking, went out to mow the grass. HA HA........I
never knew it snowed in June!!!! Well, that's what it looked like when I
came back in. Oh were they having the time of their life.

And these little maniacs, have a fenced in area on the porch with their
own swimming pool, the run of the house and several dig boxes with
millions of toys, several tubes and they have to get the paper towels.
Hmmm, wonder what they think.

But the paper towels were something *new*! :)

Polly (RIP) once got into a little box of Puffs Plus (for those outside the
US, it's a brand of facial tissue with lotion in the tissue to be gentle on
the nose/face when you are blowing your nose a *lot*). She dragged it
behind a chair, dug out *all* the tissues and made herself a fluffy nest in
the corner to sleep in! She looked so funny peeking out from all the
tissues, I couldn't even bring my self to clean the tissues up for months.

ARRGH! What turns us into wimps when it comes to these critters?

I used to be anal when it came to having a clean house. Now, I just think
it's cute when they jump on the dresser and knock everything off just to see
it fall...or when I put them in their playpen in the yard and they each
delight in digging their own holes...or when they've found out how fun it is
to jump on the toilet paper roll in the bathroom to see how much they can
unroll until they're caught. I just don't care about sparkly clean anymore.
I'm too busy laughing my @ss off. LOL
