Checked out your sight- Boy! What a gang....I liked the idea of your dig
box. What's in it? How did you make it?
Has anyone else divised a play toy such as this?

We tried a rice box years ago. The ferrets used it for a litter box
and did very little digging. End of that experiement for us.

We made a rice box for our guys last yr, & they loved it. We've retired it
for a while; it's about time to reintroduce it.

Avalon enjoys her rice box and hasn't used it for litter. I love the way
she buries her head in it and goes wacko. The best is when she starts
dancing in the confined space.

I use corn cob litter[1] which is pretty cheap, and mine love it.
Especially Priss. She buries her head, and then waits for me to bury the
rest of her. Then she'll move around for a while and finally pop her
head--and only her head--out, which is too funny. Sometimes I stick my
hand up under the litter with her and we do some underground wrestling.
Randy.

Treesa, we just bought a tote from Walmart, hubby cut a hole in the
side and we put in a short section of drain line that came from Lowes.
We made sure the hole was small enough so the cats couldn't get in
and use it for a litter box..... There has only been a time or two
that the ferrets have left a "present" in the dig box. If I remember
right I think we put in about 40 pounds of rice so it is plenty deep
enough for them to snorkle. lol lol They really like it. I have
some small stuffed animals in there and some easter eggs too.
