Close call with a duffel bag and a pick-up truck! - CLICK HERE for the Pet Manual Forum Home Page
What-a-Tool
My stepkids spend every other weekend with their father. The night before
they leave, they pack their clothes for the weekend in a duffel bag, and
leave this on the couch over night. This particular Fri., one of the kids
came home from school and let the ferrets out of their cage, and went out to
play. Dad came, they grabbed the bag, ran out the door, and thru the bag in
the back of his pick-up. They drove back to dads town and stopped in a pizza
place for dinner. As they were eating, they noticed a couple of people
standing at the truck, staring into the back. When they went out to see what
these people wanted, they noticed a one of our ferrets walking around in the
back of the truck. She fell asleep in the bag, and must have gotten a rude
awakening when tossed in the back. Luckily, she was no worse for the
experience, and happy to be home again, with an adventure to tell her
sisters and brother about.
