Don't know which company MS bought-out for this idea. It's not
completely up-to-date, but it's still pretty fun to mess around with if
you're bored.
I see JumpingMouse is the #1 poster for the year. Some of the
information is down right crazy... you'll see what I mean if you play a
little--check out the "profiles" and the "cross posting" tool. I don't
think I'll be using Google anymore to dig up people's past posts anymore.

Yeah, I've seen that before. What's really scarry is the "Author
Profile" option at the top. Type someones email address a see all the
groups they have posted to. What's even scarier is that it is trivial
for anyone to set up a system that indexes usenet in the same way.
Ex: <http://tinyurl.com/2odx2>
