The threads will read what ever way you have your news reader set up to
show them. Try not using google and a real client if you don't like the
way it is showing them.

I think you're right. The only way to access this easily is to go
back using my newsreader.

Google will do strange things sometimes. If someone changes the
subject, the reply will not be threaded with the other post--just one
thing that bugs me about it.
