Hi
I have a 4yo male Thai Ridgeback with persistant & recurring rashes.
They r papular with crusting & hair loss.
I feed him with science diet
The vet did a skin scraping which was negative BUT the rashes can be
controlled with triple therapy:
1. bathing weekly with selsun (selenium sulphide)
2. daily application of econazine cream - ie - econazole(antifungal) +
steroid
3. nizoral (ketaconazole) pills
So the rashes appear to be fungal+allergic but i dont want to have to
treat him constantly (cos if i stop a few days they recur).
Anyone with any suggestions?
