Wanted: Ferret to Adopt (near Vancouver, B.C.) - CLICK HERE for the Pet Manual Forum Home Page
john smith
We want to adopt a ferret or two into our family.
We live in Chilliwack, British Columbia, Canada (near Vancouver) and are
hoping to find a ferret(s) locally that we could adopt.
We've done our homework including books from the library, web site research
and reading some of the messages on this newsgroup. We are confident that we
can care for the ferret(s), including proper housing and "socializing/play
time".
If anybody can offer some suggestions, I'm all ears :-)

Thanks - I contacted FIRST in Vancouver.
A delightful lady from FIRST phoned us on Saturday night (made a long
distance phone call at her expense!) to discuss ferret ownership and
responsibilities with my wife and myself.
She spent about 40 minutes on the phone with us.
Outstanding service!
We are hoping to adopt two ferrets from FIRST, when they have some
available.
