A quick update from Lin & Jim. A little delay for them. Prayers so they
are on their way home very soon as a new family!!

Subject: Coming Home?
HI Everyone!
Turns out one piece of paperwork was missing, & that's being taken care of
right now. We thought we were to go to the Embassy today, but that wasn't
the case - we'll more than likely go on Thur or Fri, meaning we can head
home (Kaz time) on the 3:45a flight Sat morning (which would be 4:45p Fri
Eastern time, 9:45p Fri GMT). I just now emailed our travel agent to ask her
to change the flight. Hopefully, I'll hear about that w/in the next few hrs.
We're terribly homesick, & all we want to do is COME HOME!! I want MY bed,
MY bathroom, MY stuff, other clothes to wear, & NO MORE STINKING HOTEL
ROOMS!!! We're climbing the walls here, & I think the kids think we're lying
about this America stuff. :-(.......
Almaty is a really depressing place. You can't swing a rat w/out being
accosted by little kids on the street, begging for money & food.
Everything's melting, & the place is muddy, polluted, & ugly. Picture all
this outside stores that sell Gucci, Dolce & Gabanna, Versace & other
designer clothes, & you get the picture. Calgon, take me
AWAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY!!
More as I know it, which should be very soon.
