It was about eight years ago that I bought my AG. It was at about six
months that she said her words. They were hello, quiet/ be quiet and
what have you got on your beak. It was a night like tonight while I
was upstairs at my computer that heard her announcing something that
she had never heard before. Over and over she say I'm a pretty parrot.
Either she is awful vain, she was told that by her breeder and has a
good memory as she was only ten weeks when I bought her.

Every parrot I've ever seen or known has been completely vain. Part
of the reasons I love 'em! ;-)

She said that at six months and had no human contact other than one
weekend at my parents house. I know she did here it from my mother who
is terrified of her. I've always been careful what I say around her so
I guess that she did pick up BE QUIET and SHUT Up during her two or
three stays there.
