Update on NW GA ferret - CLICK HERE for the Pet Manual Forum Home Page
B. Smith
On one hand I'm glad, and on the other disappointed that the people decided
to keep their ferret. I'm glad because I think (hope) that this means they
will not set him loose to fend for himself. At least now they know that
there are people who can help them if they ever decide to "get rid" of him.
I really do think he deserves a better home though :-(.

Jumpingmouse, if you could please pass this news on to the groups you
forwarded my other post to, I'd appreciate it.

I'm so sorry to disappoint you, Randy, I hope you didn't have your hopes up
too high :-(.

I'm going to print out a bunch of stuff and send it to my sister to give to
them about ferret care. At least that way, maybe the home he's in will get
better even if he can't go to a better home. Sorry for the "much ado about
nothing". :-\

Excellent idea to send them some information. At least they know he could
have another home if they don't want him. It's sad tho. You did all you
could. Who knows, you might still get a chance to get him out of the
situation somewhere down the road - better to be a 'friend' to them. Will
make it easier to help him.

I will update the other groups. Thanks!
