Well, I spoke with sis, and they weren't home when she went by. She will go
back tomorrow. I did get a little more info about the people though. I
asked her to seriously rate the possibility of them turning him loose, and
she said she doesn't think they actually would. She does think it's highly
likely that they'd give him to just about anybody, though. On the other
hand, she isn't sure that the man is going to go along with letting the
ferret go to a better home, but she thinks the woman is all for it.
They have a 2 yr old kid and an almost 1 yr old, so hopefully they will
agree that it's in everyone's best interests to rehome the ferret. And it
turns out that the kid got "clawed up" like this: they were moving (an
apparently frequent activity, they move every month or so, leaving various
and sundry animals behind along the way, we think) and somehow the ferret
got out (in the car, maybe?) and was dashing about. It tried to climb the
kid I guess, and of course that left scratches on the kid's baby soft skin.

Anyway that's about all I know for sure, I'll report back in about 24 hours
or so. :-) And I, too, am glad to know there are options for him, he is
sure to go to a home where he's wanted if these people let him go, which is
great! Ferret people rock ;-)

B. Smith and her frivolous foursome :-)
Sunshine, Gator, Ipo, and Niho :-)

Thanks for the update (I've been occupying the time by watching the
second hand ease its way around and around and..).

Priss and I are looking forward to hearing more and are trying not to
get our hopes too high. ;-)

Regards,
Randy.
