All APFers,
I know that for the last couple of years I've been known more for my
absence than my presence. I've been lurking for the last few months,
but not posting much. But, there's still a few of you who were here
back when I was a panicking newbie, and y'all saved my life. So, to
you, and to those who have joined APF since, MERRY CHRISTMAS!
Especially you: Cap, Swamp, Paul, Russ, MC, JM & Kylie, Old Molly, the
Professor and Maryann, and anyone else I've forgotten who hasn't
forgotten me.

Well, I suppose that requires a Merry Christmas back, and no I haven't
forgotten you. You do research at Georgia and helped me wean Russ from
his beloved old Commodore 64 to a modern Pentium. I admit I can't
remember the names of your ferrets tho. So many ferrets are mentioned
in apf I can't remember their names unless they're in the poster's sig
file.

Uh...Swamp...that was a Commodore 128, I believe! GRIN!
And Cap...Loved your Holiday greeting site....Now..I gotta ask you..you
ever get the names mixed up? I mean, you go to call a ferret and it takes 2
or 3 or 4 or 5 tries to get the right name? Lol...I do it all the
time....TO MY SKIN KIDS!!
To all...I leave you with this little story..readers of the many of the
Yahoogroups I haunt..sorry..you gonna see it again!
One beautiful December evening Huan Cho and his
girlfriend Jung Lee were sitting by the side of the
ocean. It was a romantic full moon when Huan Cho said
"Hey baby, let's play Weeweechu."
"Oh no, not now, lets look at the moon" said Jung Lee.
"Oh, c'mon baby, let's you and I play Weeweechu. I
love you and it's the perfect time," Huan Cho begged.
"But I rather just hold your hand and watch the moon." "Please Jung
Lee, just once play Weeweechu with me." Jung Lee looked at Huan Chi
and said, "OK, we'll play Weeweechu."
Huan Cho grabbed his guitar and they both sang.....
"Weeweechu a Merry Christmas, Weeweechu a Merry
Christmas, Weeweechu a Merry Christmas, and a Happy
New Year."
And remember all...
DON'T DRINK AND DRIVE!
(You might hit a bump and spill it all!)

Are you kidding?!! I have had trouble with names since I was a kid! What is funny, is my oldest son used
to get so mad at me for naming his brothers and sisters before getting to him, when I was yelling at, or
calling him...now that he has 3 youngin's himself, he does the same thing! Everyone had best better believe
that he gets needled all the time about that! LOL!

Well, maybe given my own (un)beliefs, I should have written "Happy
Agnostica". B-)

Yes, but thank goodness I didn't wean him from his (our!) old FidoNet
ways -- he still has his redneck taglines. After the UN takes over the
Internet, y'all are going to be depending on us old FidoNeters to lead
you back to online freedom. Meanwhile, I need to upgrade my own system.
Even though it's only 5 yrs old (with many upgrades), it can't run any
of the new games coming out: Myst:URU, Half-Life 2, Schizm 2, Doom 3,
etc.

Don't worry about it -- I'm currently ferret-deprived, so there are no
names to remember. (Pity me!) But I hope to rectify that within a few
months. (Oddly enough, I can never remember the names of people, but if
they tell me the name of their dog -- even once -- I never forget. I
don't MEAN to be a misanthrope!)

Reminds me of the Welfare Queen. She had 8 kids, and when the social
worker asked their names, she said "Ralph". The social worker asked
why, and the Welfare Queen said it made it easier to call them all
together. The social worker asked, "But what if you want just one of
them?" The WQ said, "Then I just use their last name."

Owwww!
Try this: Pappa Mole stuck his head out of the mole hole and said, "I
smell maple syrup!" Mama Mole stuck her head out of the mole hole and
said, "I smell honey!" Baby Mole couldn't stick his head out, because
Mama and Papa were blocking the hole, so he said, "All I smell is
MOLASSES!"
