All we can do is help out in what ever way we can.
Like rescue and adoption services.
Or by trying (nicely) to help the owners learn and care for their
charges.

In the case of our two tiels, they get up at the crack of noon,
eat, explore the house, rant at the birds outside, play with our
other birds, then it's "nap time". Some days they demand it. :-)
We have a separate large cage in a back bedroom for that.
We should all have such a life.

Dave I wont let him go.
He knows absolutely nothing about birds. He gives advice about birds he has
never kept and its often bad advice.
He never gives credit to the advice given to him by his 200+ friends who he
often quotes.
He is a compulsive liar and has accused many people on newsgroups of
tampering with his posts to make him look bad!!
He advocates putting birds in boxes in dark rooms to punish them for being
noisy. Then he denies it and uses excuses as.. you buy birds in pet stores
and they are put in boxes! Hardly the same as being locked away in total
darkness.
He is a danger to newcomers to birdkeeping. I and many others on these
newsgroups care deeply for our birds and I dont believe in any sort of
punishment for any bird. This isnt a silly tit for tat, the people who reply
to his posts have been here for many years, tony has been here for ten
minutes and knoes everything.
I believe 110% in the happines, health and welfare of all birds, somethink
which is low down on tonys list. He thinks being popular and being liked is
more important.

Do you have any proof to uphold your ignorant attitude, or are you
just trying to piss me off? I still have not seen a shred of evidence
where the opinions I have gave was dangerous to birds. Just that
other people have different opinions on the handling of their birds.
